Mrs. Beguesse therefore sought the support of the school's stakeholders to fund a programme that would encourage these students to learn the three r's, as well as acquire a skill so that they could maximise their earning potential.
LOCAL SCHOOL BOARD
The Patna/River Estate Government Primary Local School Board was established as part of the Ministry of Education's initiative to devolve the management of primary schools to its stakeholders. In 2010 the Local School Board at Patna was given its articles of operations enabling it to begin the business of assisting with the financial and physical management of the school. In order to satisfy its mandate, the Board's membership has developed and submitted its Strategic Plan for its current life. Although the Board does not have any direct involvement in the manner in which Instruction and its delivery is done in the school, it can make suggestions and contribute financially to improving the quality of instruction.
